After today's weekly server inspection, we have received a report that some users found a ��Trojan�� virus from their computer.

Our Silkroad Online machines are everyday proceeding inspection, and after receiving a report regarding ��Trojan" virus we again conducted an inspection, as a result, there is no problem.

We conjectured that the infection can be progressed by using bot program update or visiting a scientific illegal site.

For secure game play, please restrict yourself from using the illegal/bot program, and run an anti-virus program at least once a week.

Also after removing the virus, please change the password for your secure game play.

А суть в том, что после установки нового апдейта ко многим на комп залез Троян.
Поэтому прежде чем заходить в игру просканируйте свои компы после нового патча на вирусы.
Троян какой-то мистический.
ДМ утверждает, что он пролезает только к тем, кто использовал ботов.
Но при этом всем рекомендуют поменять пароли.
Но были жалобы от игроков, которые говорят, что ничем левым не пользовались.

Так что будьте предельно осторожны перед заходом в игру.

Данные троянцы осуществляют электронный шпионаж за пользователем зараженного компьютера: вводимая с клавиатуры информация, снимки экрана, список активных приложений и действия пользователя с ними сохраняются в какой-либо файл на диске и периодически отправляются злоумышленнику.

Троянские программы этого типа часто используются для кражи информации пользователей различных систем онлайновых платежей и банковских систем.

When our users download the newest update on May 23rd (Silkroad Standard Time) for the anti-virus programs they use, the error of the anti-virus programs that detected Silkroad file with a virus will be fixed.

We have confirmed the modification with Kaspersky after update. For users that use other anti-virus programs, please try downloading the newest update for the anti-virus program, and if the error is still not fixed, then please wait for future updates.

This issue was an error of the anti-virus program itself, thus we ask for our users understanding for the delay in grasping a hold of the cause for this issue. Please keep in mind that there was no virus in the first place.

Those who can't run the game normally, or those receiving an error message such as [Error code 2] due to the wrong operation of anti-virus programs, normal processing of the game will be possible when the game is newly installed after the uninstallation of the current game.

For the security of our users, Silkroad Online is processing virus examination every day. Issues like this mainly arise from the malfunctioning of anti-virus programs and through the use of illegal programs, so please feel safe in enjoying our game.

ДМ удалил предыдущий пост, а в этом пытается обвинять антивирусники и клянется, что тестит свой комп на вирусы каждый день.

Как бы там не было на самом деле, на офф форум до сих пор поступают жалобы на Трояна и различные эрроры. некоторые акки уже были хакнуты за последние 2 дня.

Мой совет, проверить свои компы на наличие вирусов и трояна и быть эти дни предельно осторожными.

Пока ситуация не прояснится и не стабилизируется, я не буду заходить на сервер своими основными акками. Да и вам не советую.

A patch regarding [ Bot & Hacked Client Block ] has been applied in order to create a clean gaming environment.

As this patch has been applied to wipe out bot programs and hacked clients, legitimate users using normal clients will not experience any problems logging on to the game. However, users that use abnormal or hacked clients & bot programs may only log on to the game by installing an unaltered normal client that has been newly downloaded.

After the application of this patch, we will wipe out any bot & hacked client users.

ДМ сделал фильтр и не пускает тех, у кого неоригинальный клиент.
Ботов на сервере значительно поубавилось.
Сервера стали посвободнее и нет больше засилья голдфармеров.

Ждем Европу, осталось совсем немного.

Patch apply cannot be made due to the massive capacity of the Legend I, Europe Expansion so you must set up the Full Client to play the game. Every players must download the Full Client again after the Weekly Server Inspection on July 24th, 2007

- Downloading Legend I, Europe Expansion Full Client speed will slow down due to the people downloading the client at the same time on the Legend I, Europe Expansion opening date so we recommend you to download the Legend I, Europe Expansion Full Client in advance.

- Legend I, Europe Expansion Full Client can be set up after the Weekly Server Inspection on 7/24/2007 and once you set up the client, you will experience the fun of Silkroad Online Europe and China simultaneously.

Below is a simple guide to assist our users with installation of Europe Expansion client.

1. Double-click on client file named SilkroadOnline_GlobalOfficial_v_110

2. Please Wait... message will appear, asking the user to wait before the installation begins. This may take awhile, so please be patient and wait.

3. A pop-up will ask you if you wish to delete the old client and reinstall the new client. Click Yes and proceed with the installation.

4. After installation, users may see a pop-up saying Invalid Client. This does not mean that the installation has failed, so please do not worry. When the inspection is complete, restart the client, and the patch will download automatically.
